Suntec Singapore Celebrates Double Industry Recognition at TTG Travel Awards and World Travel Awards, Asia, Oceania & Indian Ocean
Press Release
8 October 2026 - Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre has again received two major industry honours, being named Best Convention & Exhibition Centre – Singapore at the TTG Travel Awards and Asia’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre at the World Travel Awards, Asia, Oceania & Indian Ocean.
The double recognition continues Suntec Singapore’s track record of receiving both awards in previous years and comes as the convention centre marks more than three decades at the heart of Singapore’s business events industry.
Mr Arun Madhok, CEO of Suntec Singapore, receiving the award for Asia’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre 2026 at the World Travel Awards Asia, Oceania & Indian Ocean.
For Suntec Singapore, the awards reflect not only the venue and technology it provides, but also the people, partnerships and continuous evolution behind the thousands of events hosted at the centre.
“Receiving these two awards once again is a tremendous honour for all of us at Suntec Singapore,” said Arun Madhok, Chief Executive Officer, Suntec Singapore.
“While we are proud of what we have achieved over the past 30 years, our focus has always been on what comes next. The expectations of organisers and delegates continue to evolve, and so must we.
“These awards belong to our people, whose commitment, creativity and ability to find solutions for our clients make the difference every day. They also belong to our clients and partners who continue to place their trust in Suntec Singapore.”

More Than Space
Since opening in 1995, Suntec Singapore has evolved alongside Singapore’s MICE industry, continually adapting its spaces, technology and services to meet changing organiser and delegate expectations.
Today, the venue offers approximately 42,000 square metres of configurable event space, supporting conferences, exhibitions, meetings, banquets and large-scale business events.
Its evolution has increasingly focused on moving beyond the traditional role of a convention centre as simply a provider of space.
Initiatives such as Engage Theatres, Suntec Singapore’s immersive theatre concept, combine large-format digital environments, audiovisual technology and creative staging to give organisers new ways to communicate with and engage their audiences.
Technology is also playing an increasingly important role in simplifying the event-planning journey, while Suntec Singapore continues to explore how artificial intelligence can improve planning, operations and the overall client and delegate experience.
People at the Heart of the Experience
While technology continues to transform the events industry, Suntec Singapore believes the human element remains fundamental.
Events are dynamic, and the ability of venue teams to understand an organiser’s objectives, anticipate challenges and respond quickly remains critical to delivering successful experiences.
This combination of people, technology and flexibility is central to Suntec Singapore’s approach as it prepares for the next generation of business events.
Its location in the heart of Singapore also allows organisers to connect their events with the wider destination, with hotels, dining, shopping, entertainment and cultural attractions within easy reach of delegates.
Looking Ahead
The two awards come at a time when the global MICE industry continues to evolve rapidly, driven by changing delegate expectations, new technology and a growing emphasis on the complete event and destination experience.
For Suntec Singapore, repeated industry recognition brings with it an equally important responsibility: to continue evolving.
“After more than 30 years in the MICE industry, leadership is not about preserving what worked yesterday,” Madhok added. “It is about continually raising the standard for what comes next.”
